Born in 1973 in Dallas, Texas, the artist JR Rapier began painting as a young girl. With her work, Rapier vividly portrays the power and emotion in objects of nature through a poetic style all her own. Rapier explores a theme in magnified paintings, capturing the remote beauty and magnificence of light, color and structure in some of nature’s most intriguing phenomena.
